Ding Dong, Yes Im Your AVON Lady

It's been about a year since I left AVON, due to life changes !
 Moving and now that the girls and I are in a better place in our lives , Im able to get back into AVON
My online store is in the works and should be up by Monday, I will be making another blog just for the AVON products and will run specials and promotions on this blog as I do them. I was thinking of doing a monthly contest, I have some fun themes in mind for these.  I'll post them once everything gets into place
 Im happy to be back !!!!!!!!! And my girls have said they are also happy to be back with me. They love to help me toss books

Lovin my Fitbit

Fitbits are a fun way to keep you on your toes ,literally!!
  It keeps tracks of your daily steps,food,drink intake.
  Theres a few different models out there. I brought a Fitbit Flex off a friend. Ive seen the Flex sale for $99 thats the cheapest model. Each model does different things.
   Each week, I get a email on what my week was like.
  Theres daily challanges,weekly,and weekends. You compete with friends that have Fitbits.

The girls and I went for another walk at Silver Creek Metro Park. A crane flew inches over our heads to land in the lake. Shortly after he/she landed another one arrived. Very rarely do we get to see these at Silver Creek.

Went on another nature hike at Silver Creek Metro Park near Norton,Ohio
   Seen a bumble bee,flying over his friend that was on the ground hurt. The bee was veey protective and tried to swarm at us for wanting to walk by..so we waited till the other one that was hurt walked to the grass and the protecter followed over.

Mating Frogs

Today on our nature walk we seen frogs and tons of them croaking loud. When they done,they would go to the frog and mate,go back to their spot and do it all over

Snail Shells And Babies

Awww while the girls and l were on a nature walk,we found a lot of snail shells filled with tiny shells. But all looked empty

N. Sippo Park. -Massillion Ohio

One of our favorite parks to walk is in Massillion,Ohio.
  It has a walk way,beside a creek,playground for the kids,work out areas ,and a lovely waterfall.

Ohio Reformatory Prison - Mansfield ohio

One of my favorite places to go and,spend hours if not most of the day is the old reformatory prison in Mansfield,Ohio
  Ohio State Reformatory closed its doors to the inmates and opened them to Hollywood!! Many movies,ghost hunt shows and even a music video was filmed here!!
   The girls and I had a few of our experiences yesterday and was able to film them!

Wendys Resturant Fire Massillion,Ohio

A few weeks ago,Wendys resturant in Massillion,Ohio caught fire as employees were getting food prepped before opening.

Break up after 48 hrs..

So looong

My heart has been on the wild side lately.
  A few ekgs at the doc office is off the wall,blood pressure shooting sky high.
Doc sent me to the E.R and I was admitted for the weekend.
  2 wks ago,had a heart cath..found no blockage..which,is good. But,my bp is still high and my heart races.
  I have a family history on both sides,of heart disease :(
   So,the passed 48hrs...Ive had this guy attached to me so they can monitor my heart through the day to see whats going on. The wires,kept poppin off at night cause I would forget the main wires,lay on them and try to turn and pop them off. Ugh!!
Hope they find out whats going on...soon!

Thick hair problems

I have super thick hair,and my daughters all have the same hair as I do.
   I found this Scunci detangle brush at Rite Aid. Yes,it says for girls,but I tried it anyways. Did it feel great!! No hair pulling at all. My 3 daughters all loved this also.
I will be buying more,so each of us have their own!!

Bathbombs results

Bath Bomb Results

Its the following day,and I had made 10 bathbombs..only 4 held the shape. But ,thats ok!! Not bad for the first try :)
And the molds I picked up,probably wasnt the best idea for them. They were salad dressing cups from Dollar General. Today,Im going to Goodwill to see if they have something else I can use.

My 1st attempt makin.....

Ive been wanting to make some money by making homemade crafts/bake goods.
  Today,I tried making bath bombs. Not sure how they will come out..Ill post an update tomorrow.
  I did try one even though it wasnt 100% dried in the mold,but I couldnt wait 24 hrs to find out. Yes,I am impatient!
  Guess what,it worked !!!

Dravenstotts for lunch

The girls and I couldnt decide what we wanted for lunch today,as usual we ended up at our favorite place in town ,Dravenstotts
    We order outback at the curbside. Food is cheaper when ordering,instead its a little more pricey.
   I got my favorite,fish sandwich basket. Its $4.65 and add fries and slaw for $2.60
My daughters ordered their favorite,bacon cheeseburger baskets.
   Sweet teas were our drinks. :)

Corn on the cob. Cupcakes

Say what?!? Corn on the cob cupcakes?!
Yes,you read that right ! 
Make your favorite cupcakes,use white icing ,this helps with the effect of looking like corn.
Patients!! You will spend a lil bit of time sorting to find the colors you need to top the cupcakes to make the corn on the cob.
White and yellow jellybeans work the best

One of my favorite places in town to eat is Dravenstotts. Great food,nice friendly staff to serve you.
   You can enjoy eating in a nice clean dining room,with a salad bar and plenty of room to bring family and friends for a birthday outing.
   In a hurry to get home,you can order out back of the building and have a car hop bring out your food to go,or relax and eat in your car.
They have been car hopin since 1969 and still going strong.
  My favorite is their fish dinner,which is in the photo above.

Scentsy. *review*

I won a nice basket of Scentsy products at a quarter auction I hosted.
I tried the laundry citrus scent. The scent was a little too strong for me! Made the blankets smell good afterwards,but cant that strong of a scent.

Whats for lunch?

My girls are big meat eaters and love tryin new things. I made this a few wks ago and it was a big hit!
  Johnsonville sweet brats fried with green peppers,onions,pasta and a little butter on top of the pasta. Season to your own liking.

Nest in a can

When we moved into our old years ago,I found a coffee can that someone made for the sparrows.
  I hung it back up on the garage and every year,lots of little eggs were hatched.
I was able to capture photos of these babies,and watch them grow..even caught momma in the nest one night and she was ok with me visiting her nest daily.
  Sadly,the nest was empty one day and lots of pieces of the bedding was sticking out. I thought I would be nice and clean the what I could out. Im not sure if it was these babies,or others that were hatched,but I found little bodies in with the sticks.
   The summer was hot,and was afraid the heat played a part in the deaths..so I buried the babies I found and got rid of the can .
  I no longer live at that house and hope the sparrows that come back early find a new place to make a nest for their eggs.

Coupon Binder vs Coupon Accoridan

Any way you want to store and use your coupons is your choice. For me,I found the binder works best. I need to be able to see my coupons or I will forger what ones I have and waste time going through them one by one. Any binder will work,I have found a few at the local thrift stores. The one that I have used over the years I got at Staples on clearance. If you want to use the binder method, here is some ideas to use. These are what I use
    3inch binder
     Dividers with tabs so I can keep each catagory seperate
  Baseball card holders
    These you can get at Target in a large pack under $6 bucks. Ebay also has some.
Pencil pouch with holes to put in my binder.
  I put scissors,pen,paper,caculator in there,never know when I will need something. :)

Cheap Jewerly Cleaner

Any denture cleaner tabs will work
I learned this trick while working in the nursing home.
Use denture tabs to soak rings for a cleaning. I have cleaned my 14k gold rings,sterling silver rings,earrings and never had a problem. I picked these denture tabs and the tub at the Dollar Tree.

Couponing saves money $$

Do you coupon ? Think its a waste of time?
I used to think that also. Then I started out with a few coupons and seen how much I can save if I put the effort in.
   This trip the water was on a 3 day sale at my local grocery store. Its usually $3.19 just for a 6pk of flavored water. The sale was 10 for $10. With coupons , I paid 10 for $5.00.     :)

Coopers Rock - West Virginia

Planning a trip to West Virginia?
I have been to Coopers Rock twice and love going there!! Admission to the rock free!
Lots of hiking and walking trails. Theres even a old furnace Clays Furnace on one of the walking trails.
I found a like to the state forest for more information,they even have camping spots.

Snow finally in Ohio

We havent had much snow this winter in Ohio. Last night they put in a parking ban bedore midnight..we were to get hit with 5 to 8 inches...first time the weather person was right on the local news lol

Moving in...

The last few months have been a big change in mine and my daughters lives.
I left a bad releationship after 13 years,of mentally and verbal abuse. Meet my current boyfriend months ago after buying a computer from him,and today we brought bunkbeds for my girls to move in with him!!
  He has accepted me and my girls and has treated us so nice and will do anything for us. We love him to the moon and back!!
